Today, President Donald J. Trump spoke from Jerusalem with Prime Minster Theresa May of the United Kingdom about the terrorist act in Manchester, England. During the conversation, the two leaders agreed that this attack, which targeted teenage children and their friends and their parents, was depraved.
President Trump calls attackers “Losers”
President Trump reassured the Prime Minister that Americans stand with the people of the United Kingdom and that we will not waiver in the face of terrorism. President Trump offered aid in the United Kingdom’s investigation and vowed to continue the mutual fight against terrorism. Both leaders commended the speed, courage and professionalism of the first responders who took care of the wounded, secured the innocent and tended to the survivors and their families.
President Trump is looking forward to seeing Prime Minister Theresa May in person later this week to discuss America’s commitment to the U.K. and both countries will work with allies and partners around the world to defeat terrorism.

Just a few minutes ago, Prime Minister Theresa many increased the Threat Level in the U.K. from From “Severe” to “Critical” in answer to the attack that took place yesterday in Manchester.
